I've seen point blank ak executions before on video and even if the round goes clean through the head there is always visible head trauma.

In this video there isn't even a pool of blood. It doesn't add up.

i've seen two cartel execution videos where both victims just flopped over after being shot by an AK inches away from their heads. their heads didn't explode violently.

I laughed at the watermelon bit as I was immediately suspicious as you don't see the gun!

I read an interesting study recently that the reason most people fall over once shot (non fatal or high calibre) is because that's how they believe they should act. It's got nothing to do with the physics.

The modern mentality believes everything must have an explanation and that there is a "truth" the reality is far less straight forward.
I think this scares people and do the media and governments play with this of course but for the majority of the time not to the extent these theories suggest.
