leonard is of different breed...he doesn't need to dominate the ball to help his team win games.

of course durant would take paul george any day, they're the same...they need to have the ball in their hands always to be effective.

wouldn't be surprised though if someone would take a survey of coaches and majority of them would take leonard over george.

Not you in general but why are people so sensitive about this? Hes 100% right.

People have to stop watching that casual fan first take bullshyt. Timing?

      Heres the FULL exchange:

Guy: "Im taking Leonard over Paul George all day and to think Bird traded him for George Hill lmao"

      KD: "U trippin bro"

Guy: "You dont think he would do work in Indy?"

KD:" No. Hes doing work like this because of the system put Paul George on the Spurs what would happen?"

Leave it to the casual fan cesspool that is ESPN to blow shyt out of proportion. Kd is right. No fan with a brain would disagree.

Why all the fake outrage? Whats wrong with this.

      Again.

      Context.

For those who didnt see the twitter exchange. I mean come on how is he being salty or hating on him?
      he is hating.

you can try to rationalize and spin it any way you want but when Durant uttered the words "he's doing work because of the system" that pretty much is hating.

What Durant said is what you call a classic back handed compliment, which is basically an insult wrapped in a politically correct worded statement.

Anytime you have to utter the words its because of the system, its pretty much an insult. Heard the same thing about steve nash in regards to dantoni system inflating his numbers.

      stupid argument.

Durant was hating plain and simple. you're defense for him is basically semantics.

        its not true.

The only reason why people like durant question his greatness (which is basically what the system comment means) is because his numbers dont pop out like an allstar like lebron and durant.

a lot of that has to do with Poppovich's unselfish, play the right way, make the right pass, the right play system.

Leonard's talent is for real. You have had two finals series to tell you that. The cream rises at the top at the highest level and competition in any competitive activity in life.

Leonard could easily get over 20 per game if he had his own team and he was a projected as a brand type player (lebron, carmelo, kobe). Then again, maybe Leonard doesnt develop the way he has if that was put on him.

Plus anybody that has to use the system put down doenst really make any sense. so what if its the system? its still the nba. the goal is still the same height, he's still going against nba talent in this system.

Never understood that argument. it was said about nash and even though i thought nash didnt deserve to win any mvps, i defended him from those saying its because of dantoni's system.

It still takes talent to be successful in any system.

MJ never won without the triangle. Same with kobe. Would you hold that against them?

Exactly, and George wouldn't fit in the system, Leonard has the qualities required of the Spurs.

Leonard has the qualities required of any winning team.

he's like shane battier with offense, athleticism, and minus the flopping.

Brick wall is off base. PG does not need the ball at all. The Pacers were at their best when he let the game come to him. Leonard and George arent on the same planet as basketball players.

George would fit in any system especially the Spurs. That team with George in Leonards place wouldnt be fair.

There isnt anything that Leonard does better than George other than rebounding.

Leonard is good. But 2 good series doesnt make this kid elite by any stretch of the imagination George is an all nba talent.

Battier didn't flop until he went to Miami. Neither did Ray Ray. Miami must be the place to play dirty these days.

                    please.

he's been flopping since he was in houston.

i blame him for popularizing the flop charge.

i hate that move with a passion.

Nothing is worse than the "head back flop" Chalmers and Manu have it fuc.kin mastered. Jr Smith is pretty good at it too.

God the NBA ****.in sucks. Flopping should be a mando 3 game unpaid suspension. That will rid the sport of flopping forever. That Wade flop on Manu when he swiped at the ball and Wade acted like he got hit in the eye was one of the worst flops of all time.
