1990 would've been difficult for me because Depeche Mode released Violator that year.

1997 is a toss up between OK Computer and Urban Hymns.

I'll probably favour OK Computer but Verve were the better band, their two previous albums A Storm In Heaven and A Northern Soul are two of the best albums of all time.

And of course the album in my avatar was the best not only of 2013 but the best this decade.

I personally think Iva Bittová & Vladimír Václavek - Bílé Inferno is the best rekkid of '97 by some measure.
