That was announced a few weeks before the iPhone 5s was announced. Samesung did this to try and 'beat' Apple to the punch.

They knew the rumour of the gold iPhone and the announce a gold phone just so they can say they did it first.

iOS doesn't do anything, so of course it's battery lasts longer. Not to mention screen size has a big affect on battery life.

HAHA so POS7 has come out with functions such as a navigation bar and people are complaining about battery usage along with their sickness and nausea lol.
