Pacino is the most overrated actor ever. He's a good actor, but he's the same guy in every film almost.

It could be that he's been mostly typecast, but he very rarely shows us something different than the guy we are always used to seeing.

I was surprised not to see one of my own personal favourites, Peter Mullan, on the list ( Unless I missed him ).

If you're still in Doubt, check out both 'My Name Is Joe' & 'Tyrannosaur'.

Both Achingly beautiful yet Heart-Breaking and Gut-Wrenching performances. And certainly more deserving of a place on that particular list then the likes of Keira Knightly, Matt Damon, Amy Adams, Kristin Stewart, Simon Pegg, Hugh Jackman and a host of others.

Also, Alan Rickman's Performance as Severus Snape in the Potter films over Hans Gruber in Die Hard? WTF!

I am a movie freak and have seen some great actors in some great roles...
but I personally cannot seem to get out of my head this one role played by Brad Pitt in movie " The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" He was bloody marvellous and I couldn't believe when he didn't won an Oscar for that. and even today it baffles me.

he should have 5 performances in the top 10 alone.

Why didn't they put Marlon Brando's performance in Godfather and Pacino's performance in Scarface or Scent of A Woman on the list?

IMO, those performances were their best.

This is true. But IMO sometimes it just feels like he was born for particular roles.

Am I the only one who finds Depp in Edward Scissorhands one of the most overrated performances in the history of film?
