Listen to Eminem - Superman. It's been a year since this girl who you think is "special" left. Do you have friends? If so, they should be helping you get over it by taking you out or doing other things to raise your spirits. Even if you think it's rough, with time, it will all get better. You just need to work toward a goal; you're still young and won't figure out exactly what you want to do just yet. You were enrolled in college and performed well. Why not go back and finish? A college degree can never be taken from you, and it will always put you in a better position than not having one. Furthermore, while in college, did you try to meet new people? Or were you just sulking? College is a fun experience with many opportunities. Assuming you're not socially awkward, you could be making tons of friends and meeting plenty of new people (including girls). Even if you're not trying to date right now, the chances are that at a college with tons of girls, you'll probably meet a lot of amazing people (and girls) that will easily make you forget about homegirl. You need to be proactive in enjoying the college experience.

Your heartache will pass. Go back to school. Have fun at college. Turn your life around. The only thing holding you back is yourself.
