              I have always said that I thought the first half (boot camp) of "Full Metal Jacket" is the greatest movie ever made, but the second half is just very good. That said, I guess I would say it's the best war movie, IMO....followed by "Platoon".

              I think "Apocalypse Now" is one of the more overrated films in history. It's overly long and having watched it recently I thought the acting and was shockingly bad.
