Whether they are the best or not is debatable, but for me they are the best.
it looks a lot like your top ten boxers list.

including him in a list of the greatest ever actors is the most natural thing to do for people who know their films...

i'll send a green if i still could brah...

If it was best Hollywood movie star, Patrick Swayze would be in the Top 10. As you can see, he is not.

Those two are good, but not ATG actors. They don't have the resume to compare with others on these lists.

But he had him below Brad Pitt.

            I like Brad, but...

i was assuming he made the list in no particular order...

i recently watched the anime adaptation of seven samurai entitled samurai 7 and
toshiro's character was played by a steampunk android...

                I might check that out.

I actually prefer Takashi Shimura, finding him a less showy actor than Mifune.

Kind of off-topic, but I find Rod Steiger an underrated actor.

I've never seen DZ, but I checked, and it is.

I've often seen Steiger in films and not realised it's him at first... the mark of a great actor?

I can't claim to have seen everything he's been in, maybe even just a handful. But I'd say his work in The Pawnbroker and In The Heat of the Night is top rate. The guy's pure method.

And I haven't seen enough EH to really judge.
