With "red flag" and confiscation laws as central promises among Democrats for 2020-2024, how many of you have a remote stash with a compact firearm and a few hundred rounds? It's increasingly relevant.

Same as in that thumbnail. Except mine has hogue grips.
I put new hogue grips and replaced the standard Taurus grips it use to have.
Here's an old pic when it still had the Taurus rubber grips.

I only keep the real nice, expensive pieces at home.
Hk, sig, Smith and Wesson, Dan Wesson, etc.
The glocks, Taurus, Rugers, springfields, etc. go in storage with most of my ammo.

Beautiful revolvers, I didn't see you post any before so I thought you weren't into them.

I want a colt python, old version
I've been wanting a Smith r8, trr8
Just haven't pulled the trigger on it, they're about $1400
They're bad ass though

Very expensive indeed, I'll check those others you mentioned.

Smith and Wesson 327 trr8
https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearm...model-327-trr8
Smith and Wesson m&P r8
https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearm...er-model-mp-r8
8-shot .357 mag revolvers
Designed for swat team shield carriers
The shield carrier on an entry team cant carry smgs or longguns
The auto pistols sometimes jams up because of the shield
So they developed these revolvers for them
Both r8 and trr8 are same
Just different sights
Plus one has detachable optional rails, the other has a rail built in

I'm not sure I would lay out $1,300 for a revolver.
Do answer me this though:
A friend yesterday showed me a little gun that he acquired, it was a Taurus 380 TCP.
It was so small...I do wonder if they do enough damage to even consider buying and carrying such a thing, never shot a 380 before and still haven't.
I have gotten reasonable comfortable with my MP Shield 2.0 9mm and its Concealment Express holster in Appendix carrying, but if a little 380 can also do the trick, I might acquire one and just switch back and forth on my daily CC.
What do you think? I'm looking for reviews and range testing of some, like this one:

.380 acp and .32 acp are weak but good enough
Especially since their guns are so small and comfortable to carry
A .32 or .380 on you when you need it is better than a .44 magnum at home.

Seeing all those revolvers you linked reminded me of this video I saw like a year ago:
Timestamped at the shot.
Almost the same price of those two S&W you linked:
