That's from 2015. California, Oregon and some other states have snuck firearm registration schemes in since then.

Oregon claims they destroy the registration records after X years f you haven't committed a crime but... lol... I don't think anyone believes that in today's Edward Snowden world.

Judge Kavanaugh wrote that while the government may ban fully automatic machine guns, it should be unconstitutional to ban semiautomatic rifles because they “have not traditionally been banned and are in common use by law-abiding citizens for self-defense in the home, hunting and other lawful uses.”

This is the same kind of oxymoron he used against indigenous Polynesians. The reason fully automatic weapons have not been in common use is because the US has traditionally and illegally banned them
