Not to mention they weigh over 200 pounds...most humans couldnt even stop one of these dogs unless they had a gun.

Did you watch the video, it looked like even the prison guards were scard to let them out of the cages, those dogs were in a frenzy
A Marine is trained to kill. They're even trained to defend themselves in hand to hand combat.

Put him in the ring with a pro boxer or MMA fighter, let's see if it will be the same. It wouldn't.

Put them both in the dessert of Iraq and see which survives. . .

Throw any dog in the ring with a 90lb leopard and they get their jugular ripped out and used as a playtoy.

You do realise fighting Pitt's have weights and the best performers are 40lbs. Some to 70lbs. You don't seem to know much about dog fighting.

We can go around in circles all day.

Put a boxer and a Marine in a desert, see who survives: The Marine, probably.
Never heard of a boxer taking bullets.

Fighting and killing are two different things. The dogs you are mentioning aren't bred to fight. It doesn't matter if they can bark at Big Foot and scare him away.

i was around one of those as a youngster

it was a 150 lb lap dog. real talk. it was nice as hell. they named it "russia"

it was a big, furry buddy

dogs are less a product of the traits of their breeds than they are of the environment in which they were raised.

some dogs hold a greater aptitude toward being violent, and a greater propensity to be violent against people or other dogs / animals.

there are friendly pit bulls. pit bulls were originally bred to fight / exhaust bulls, and later to fight other dogs.

there a vicious companion / toy dogs. they were bred to sit in the lap of a rich woman.

dogs are social. that means essentially that they believe they're a part of your family / group. they learn almost everything from their owners / their little doggie buddies. very little is actually ingrained in them from birth.

get your animals spayed or neutered and make sure they're properly socialized with dogs and people from an early age. that means it needs to spend at least 8 weeks with it's litter, and be exposed to other dogs and people for the first two years of it's life. if you can do that you run almost zero risk of having a violent dog.
