Jamie would win the best of Westeros will always beat the best Dothraki who wear little armour and have far inferior weapons.

Westeros knights = Medieval west European knight

Dothraki = less advanced version of Mongol army

The guy with the better armor and weapons wins more times than not.

What if they warrior with the light armor manages to trip the man in armor? The armor is very heavy and if they fell to the ground, they were not likely to come back up. All it takes is a hole just the right size for some of their "inferior" weapons to penetrate the armor.

The Lannister would be better served having quickness and agility than being a stationary target for Drogo


all that armor wont help if he gets knocked over and has a blade at his throat by the time he rolls over

This is simply not the case armour was a huge advantage the use of armour only became obsolite when weapon technology's became fairly advanced gun powder and firearms. Dothraki weapons are primitive much more primitive than westerosi weapons.

Also Jamie would have trained and fought in heavy armour since a young boy he would be accustomed to the weight.
