Not quite but Scientist at the LHC have claim to have discovered "The God Particle" the Higgs Boson.

It is the particle that is responsible for giving some particles mass, and without it the standard model would not work.

The particle was theorised in the 1960s and after a 45 year search and billions spent on massive atom smashers they are 99.99% sure they have found this elusive particle.


This is biggest discovery in physics for over half a century.

Who knows where this discovery could leave us.

But the Higgs Boson particle has been witnessed, which is probably the biggest scientific discovery of the last 50 years.
