A better question might be where does Kobe rank on the all-time Lakers list.

    1. Magic

    2. Kareem

    3. Kobe

    Any arguments?

Gotta go with Larry Legend. The toughness, passing, and rebounding are all categories I feel he has the edge on. Both are great, but I just think mentally, there a few players tougher than Bird.. Kobe to me isn't one of them

Agreed. I actually put Shaq above Kobe on the all time great list. He was so dominant during his prime and when he and Kobe were both in LA it was shaq's team. he won all the Championship MVP's.

think about teams not able to play zone on kobe...in a league where you had really top heavy teams and REALLY crappy teams...Kobe would have had more Toronto-like nights

Bird had to deal with Magic & Kareem on the same team!

And still won as many rings as Kobe whos biggest threat was 5'11 Allen Iverson.

The Trojans will be in the thick of it for sure. I still hate that Lane Kiffin but he's built a good staff around him and they continue to get top notch recruits. I'd love to see Urban Meyer have a mental breakdown on the sidelines during a national televised game, lol. Florida is destined for another down year, but I still think Bama and LSU are the teams to beat.

                      Reggie Miller
                      Tim Duncan
                      Jason Kidd
                      Chris Weber
                      Scottie Pippen
                      Dwight Howard
                      Pierce, Garnett, Allen
                      Steve Nash

ALL of the guys Kobe went against to get titles and you conveniently highlight Iverson's sorry ass...good job
