he's doing it to stay busy. dont get cut. dont lose. dont take damage. and dont risk your chance to beat manny pacquiao and actually get credit for it.
you can only be in so many hard fights. he's a 38 year old lightweight.
being in another hard fight, even if he wins, is not worth it. fight a can. stay busy. then go all out when you're getting paid well.
