I agree with 2010 world cup being awful with defensive tactics, low scores and the ball. But 2002 and 200 were two quality world cups especially with 2002. 2002 was one the best world cup, South Korea’s run, Senegal’s performance, Brazil quality football and France bombing out early. Also 2006 was good as well, France reaching the final Zindane schooling Brazil, Italy’s amazing defensive performance along with them beating German, Portgual-Holland and Mexico-Argentina.

The difference is people remember World Cup winners and their matches, no one knows who won Euro yet alone how the matches played out
