The Heat could beat the Thunder, but I wouldn't pick them to do so.

Not a good sign for Boston in game 1.

for the lakers 2nd round playoffs is a disappointment.

i mean we're not the celtics.

we don't do 6 year straight no playoffs or 9 year straight no 2nd round appearance.
90s were when its a lost cause playing the east.. no sense in playing knowing jordan would always booted you out of the playoffs..

          • Whoever gets out of the west is going to ***** slap the Heat, even if they're healthy. The talent in the West is levels ahead of the East, Denver would take out the 3 seed Pacers in 6.

I agree with you to a certain extent but let's not make out the Spurs or Thunder have had it tough on their way to the conference finals.

Thunder faced a Mavs team that had bascially a brand new squad meaning they had no chemistry. They then went up against the Lakers who's big men underperformed and as a team couldn't find a identity all year.

Spurs went up against untested Jazz and no chemistry Clippers.

Only now are both teams going to be tested going against each other.

I like how most people are automatically having one of these teams the winner. I can't blame them but they still have to go through the Heat which is no easy task.

Regarding last nights game, the refs were off with some of their calls but they didn't decide the outcome of the game and they didn't control how the Celtics as a team shot the ball. Pierce and Allen were non factors for the most part and if the Celtics wanna beat the Heat, those two have to play better offensively.

Also look at their free throws, Celtics went 11 of 21 at the line which is terrible. (Heat shot 23 free throws and made 16.)

Rebounding was also dominant in heat's favor outrebounding the Celtics 48-33.

                    • If OKC allows San Antonio to have 30 point quarters like the first one earlier, they can expect to be swept in 4 games.

You can never really tell how good a team is solely based on their regular season play alone, but at this point in time in the playoffs it's clear this Spurs team is really really good. Almost unbeatable.

They play stiff defense and score a ****load of points.
