Lakers need to do a straight up trade Gasol for Carol Boozer next season and they make it past Mavs and Thunder

Good one. The Lakers would get rape in that deal. Why would the Lakers trade Gasol for an undersized and injury prone PF in, Boozer?

because of bynum , they put him so far away from the paint.

plus he has to guard all these athletic power forwards.


put gasol back at center and get an athletic power forward.

The most telling stat to keep an eye on is Kobe's assists. Does he trust his teammates? Are his teammates rewarding that trust? The Lakers are 4-1 facing elimination when Kobe records five or more assists. The last three times the Lakers lost facing elimination, Kobe had only one assist
