You're not going to survive on fish alone.......that **** is far too lean and unless you catch ten or more a day you're pushing it.

Of course he could live on fish alone as far food is concerned, and he wouldn't need to catch 10 a day. The human body is good at making do. Problem would be fresh water.

Pacific Islanders have circumnavigated the Pacific thousands of years ago on primitive technology while at sea for months on end. Let's not even mention the sailors that made it across the Atlantic to North America. I can't see why people can't do it on their own today even with an extinction-level event.

I'd board up and camp out as long as possible. Seems like one thing all zombie movies have in common is the zombies are easy to hide out from, but hard as hell to evade. You try and make it to a base and you're likely not going to make it. Unless you own a big truck that is...

While I was hiding I wouldn't **** around. I'd be making armor and weapons. I'd be getting myself into shape. If these zombies are as dumb as they are supposed to be then a two story house with an addic or a basement should be enough to hide out in. A house full of junk and a desperate mind can get you places I think.

Walking Dead has it right with the guns too. You shoot guns and you attract attention. I'm talking knives, fire, blunt objects.
