i hope the law factors in the health of the mother and baby. there really isnt a logical reason for making a deformed baby go through ''life'' that way. its hard enough as it is when youre healthy and normal.

and if i had to pick between mother or baby surviving, mom gets my vote everyday.

when can a baby live on its own, independent of a mother.

meaning.....if you remove the baby at a certain stage, will another mother still be able to raise it ? can a 10 week old baby survive OUTSIDE OF THE BODY regardless of whos breastfeeding it and w/o medical assistance ?
