I got good grades (2.1/merit) and have lots of internships inc one in House of Lords (that's the UK version of the Senate).

I just dont know what I want to do with my life. I wont study again for years, if ever, and if I do, it'll be a taught MA/MSc.

That is what the education system is built for. Congratulations on having gotten as far as you have...

In this society we live in, dictate that if we want what we want (in this case wealth and a career), we increase the likelihood of it taking place by going through these motions.

I suggest that if you can finish your studies at the standard (maintaining GPA above a certain point...) you desire, you should. If you can't, put yourself into a position where you can take a break for as long as you want until you figure it out.
