American born terrorist, Anwar al-Awlaki, has been killed in Yemen in a CIA-directed drone strike. This is a big win in the fight on terror, but not all of the reaction is positive. There has been a lot of reaction to the fact that al-Awlaki was an American citizen and that this goes against what the Attorney General has said in the past in regards to trying terrorists in the United States. Many folks speaking out against this including the ACLU and presidential candidate, Ron Paul. On the other hand the Obama Administration is also receiving praise for its efforts to take out these terrorists-first bin Laden and now al-Awlaki.
What do you think? Does the President and the administration have the right to target for killing an American citizen like al- Awlaki? We want to hear your thoughts so drop us a line here on "The Daily Bret" or on Facebook or Twitter @bret_baier.
Thanks for watching and have a great weekend!
