but the link that matters from there is the link to Goolsbee's actual blog. Yes the numbers are in that bloomberg article, but the "support" for them comes from an official White House blog



that being said.... his numbers seem to contradict both actual unemployment and people receiving unemployment benefits... and if i had to pick which was more accurate, i'd say its where the money is. and to say we're adding 2.4 million private sector jobs, in light of this... well that's utter rubbish



also, its worth noting that 'we' need to add 125k jobs a month just to keep up with population growth....

and besides, when discussing anything with anyone it always helps to know better where they are coming from. so knowing what numbers and it what contexts they're used helps to avoid confusion and time wasting
