      *********ATTENTION***********

Rumblin' Rockin' Promotions will no longer be paying each week for your bouts. In a step to save time it was deemed neccesary to pay out when fighters career is termenated or he retires.

In the last post you saw the active fighters list with their record, manager, etc.... The number to the right of your fighters records will indicate the points credited to your fighter. I hope that this will be ok for you managers, thankyou for the understanding. If there are any concerns please feel free to pm me with the details............ Rumblin' Rockin' Promotions

In the opening bout of the night we saw a throw down between two very dangerous fighter as Stanley Ketchell (2-0(2) faced off against Curtis Parker (4-9(2). The first round started out with Ketchel jumping all over Parker, swarming and swining and landing the first 11 blows of the bout. Parker was able to touch Ketchel with his right hand and later, right before the bell sounded Parker dropped in another right hand that sends Ketchel to the canvas. Ketchel would rise at 6 as the bell sounded to end the round.

Ketchel was sure not to make the same mistake twice as he circled to his right through out the round trying to stay away from Parkers right hand. Parker, in pursuit through out the round, scored on blows here or there with nothing really doing much damage but it was enough to pull off the round.

Round 3 was very similar as Parker pursued Ketckell, landing here or there with Ketchel offering nothing in return. Late in the round Ketchel suddenly rebersed his motion and landed a hard right to Parkers surpised jaw. Parkers knee touches the canvas, giving the round to Ketchel, just as the bell sounded to end the round.

Rounds 4,5 and 6 say the tide of the fight sway to Ketchels favor as he took control of the still hurt Parker. Ketchel would stand Parker straight up with a right hand but the hook missed his dazed opponent. Parker would be hurt several times through these rounds, his only defense against the on slaught being to try to tie Ketchel up as often as possible.

Round 8 continued to see Ketchel abusing Parker as he pounds him from ring post to ring post. Parker would go down twice in the round and looked ready to go. As the referee motioned the fighters to box Ketchel looked at the referee as if to say that Parker has had enough. The referee agrees and steps in to halt this bout late in the 8th round........Rockin'

No. The thread title reads "King of the Hill". I thought it would be funny to post a funny video from the show "King of the Hill." The particular clip chosen was not an attack on the thread starter.
