it was solid.

a lot of setting up.

i'd have preferred if they didn't do so much setting up.

the part with stannis i could have done without.

they should have just introduced stannis finding about his brother and the lannisters. (or maybe they could have done that last episode of season 1)

all the nonsense with mellisandre could have been done in a later episode. no need to introduce everyone at once.

stannis is the rightful heir.

renly however has the most backers. (he was in the court while stannis was stuck in dragonstone. hence he has more support from other noble houses. especially his boyfriend's family)
