Ulead is something you have to buy...
Ive used Virtual Dub...all you need is the vid to be Avi and it'll make a good gif..
or use Gimp..youtube a few ways

someone else told me virtual dub was good too. never heard of gimp though. can i just google it and download ??

Virtual Dub is what i find is easiest to make with...but you need a video that is .AVI...
Ive never used gimp to make a gif but from i seen from its only able to do images gifs not videos...
Ulead you have to pay for but there is a trial..

Give Virtual Dub a go. Its pretty simple to use
