Stephen Hawking: God did not create Universe

Spontaneous creation is the same as there being a God.

No it isn't. That's like saying "No horse is the same as there being a horse".

Only with spontaneous creation you don't give credit where credit is due. Typical arrogant, self centered, self serving, egotistical, know it all behaviour of the biggest slags of human kind.

Ah OK so we should give the "credit" where it "is due" by crediting your specific imaginary magical dad for creating us while leaving absolutely no reason to think that "he" (and it's always "he) did in the first place?

As for Hawking.. I would contend he is bitter about his condition, hence cannot bring himself to believe in God. A shame, he is brilliant. A friend of mine that has massive health complications feels the same way. He's had to have a kidney transplant and he cannot bring himself to believe in God.

This is a rather sly way of gloating about the fact that Hawking has crippling health conditions, just one more way in which religious people disgust me.
