On the international scene nobody tears it up more than David Villa, not even Messi.
On the club scene it goes Messi > Ronaldo > Rooney > Xavi then after than you get your good strikers like Drogba and Villa.
Drogba tore up the Premier League with a great Chelsea side last season but he couldn't do it in Europe that's why i didn't include him in the elite. Rooney tore up both with an average (by their standards) United side.
Villa could well break into the elite this season coming with the great Barcelona team behind him.

It will be interesting to see what Villa can do at Barcelona next season as he is obviously going to be getting much better service than he did at Valencia.

Don't wrong, Villa is a world class striker. But some people speak of him as if he is good as the Great Ronaldo. He has always done well for Spain, it isn't something new. Already the Spanish great all time scorer.
However, he isn't good as Ronaldo. Skill wise he is good as Drogba and Rooney but they had better season last year

Drogba and Rooney both had a better season than Villa.
Messi > Ronaldo > Drogba > Rooney > Villa
he's the one scoring for one of the world cup favorites while the other guys are off doing whatever the **** they are.

im scared about playing barca next season in the champions league. Im hoping they end up like Madrid with too many great players to be a great team.
Villa is a goal machine, and with the team mates he'll have next year watch out.
Unless Messi just decides not to pass to him and score himself.

He doesnt score much for Argentina because he tries to do it all by himself. For some reason he's not a good team player for Argentina...
