In other words confidence scams. Scams that you've heard of that can get you free ****.
I'll start - we have a pizza joint that says if it's not their in 40 minutes it is free. Basically all you have to do is tell them in your initial call that you'd like to pick it up at some location, preferably one that you've used before to get food from said restaurant, and then once the 40 mins has passed you call up customer service and tell them the deal. Tell them that you were SUPPOSED TO HAVE IT DELIVERED, WTF!!!!!
They then apologize for 'their' mistake.
Then end up giving you a store credit for the amount that you spent.
For Canadians (Torontonians actually) that's 416-967-1111. It's been used for many years and never fails.
