gary oldman was my favorite actor for years, he seems to be very hard working and puts more into each performance like a good craftsman, norton is too new school, where he knows he just has to show up and be ed norton and everybody will love it, where oldman is making sure every time we see him he's put 100% of his ability into each character, he changes his voice for every part he plays, no one else does that in film history

Great post phall, Daniel day changes his voice a lot too, or at least his accent.

Oldman becomes his part like Daniel day but doesn't have to "stay in character" during his regular life. God that must be annoying to his family.

Lotta people voting for Ed, but not talking bout it.

Both great actors, I give it to Oldman though.

His scenes in Leon = amazing.

Nortons 25th hour speech was also amazing.

Oldman played sid vicious AND beethovan.

I almost went through the entire True Romance movie before I figured out that was him.

I was thinking when i read the title that Oldman is a Chameleon. He plays very believable characters. Very good in pretty much everything he's in.

I really like Edward Norton, he's very good also, but he's not really in the same leauge in my opinion.

Oldman. Norton tends to play almost the same character, in which he plays very well. Ed always has the same feel and vibe to him in each movie.

Oldman did the British version of Fight Club back in the day. The Firm. He plays an estate agent in a hooligan firm:

And the range...Norton would never be convincing in a Batman flick.
