they could have traded that #1 pick for another top 10-12 pick.

still gotten kobe AND a bunch more players and picks.

crap organizations are never that lucky though.

            no his whole ADULT LIFE.

he's lived in l.a. since he was 17.

he lived in philly what a couple years when he was a toddler and 3-4 years of high school?

his dad joe left the 76ers the same year he was born and then moved to italy a few years later.

what did rahim do for vancouver?

what did marbury do for milwaukee?

at least iverson did something for philly.

                  honestly.

take it from an l.a. guy.

no one want to live outside of l.a.

marbury was traded for allen I believe. Allen did a lot for Milwaukee. Abdul-Raheem was avery good player for a min, fell off quick though.

He spent 14 years in LA and most of his childhood in Italy.

He went to a private school in Philadelphia and moved to Italy when he was 5 years old.
He was born in philly, spent 7 years in italy, then moved back to philly (lower merion) and played for the public school lower merion until he got drafted.

As much of lakers fan you are it doesnt change the fact that he refers to philly as his home
