Where does Italy come in? When he went to the pros he moved there?
        No.

He was born in Philadelphia, but was raised in Italy and went to school in Italy. He spent the majority of his life in Italy and LA. He spent 3-4 years in Philadelphia for high school and spent the summer back in the US for basketball camps.

Kobe's dad played pro ball in Italy and moved his family to Italy. He moved his family back to the US, when he was done playing ball.

Blame your crappy 76'ers organization for not picking him with the first overall pick.

Iverson, Abdur-Raheem, Allen, and marbury were the better players at the time though.

                      Exactly.

He spent 14 years in LA and most of his childhood in Italy.

He went to a private school in Philadelphia and moved to Italy when he was 5 years old.
