        I did, I kept trying that, first time I did it(yesturday) it worked, now it won't..

        Taking it to repair tomorrow.

          Take the ram out and put it back in. take the HDD out and put it back in.

            No? I did check on HP.com and some other sites and they said it's a comon problem for HP laptops dv6, dv7, dv9...

            I'll take it in tomorrow I just hope it won't be too expensive to fix.

                    Took it in today, they said it would take up to 10 or more days since their so busy.

                    Atleast it's getting fixed... damn HP.

                      when you take it back can you ask them what went wrong? i'd like to know since i have the dv7. i'd like to avoid turning this thing into an oversized paperweight.
