I'll still take it in on monday just so they could tell me what the exact problem is, too bad my warranty expired.

have you tried turning it on with only the adapter? (no battery)

            Nothing..

If I remove the battery and the power cord, then hold the start button down for 30 seconds, then hook up the cord back and then the battery, a energy light goes on, then when I hit start, the start button turns blue for half a second then bam, nothing, they all shut back off.

my last guess is an overheating problem. how hot is it in your house? are you guys blasting the heater? is your laptop near any heat sources? if that's not the case you'll have to get someone to look at it.

                  This is what I did.

1 - Removed all power sources(battery, charging cable)
2 - Held power button down for 30-40 seconds.
3 - Put the Charging Cable in, then Battery(in that order)
4 - Waited 3 seconds then hit the power button and bam. works

I don't know if it will happen again or if it's going to work in the long run but for now it started.

This is the one I have, HP dv9000

Sucks to hear that bro. Lap tops were always too much for me, seeing my homies struggle with theirs i just stuck with my desktop. My bro is like an unofficial computer technician, he would probably fix it by touching it(sarcasm). Any deadly virus i get, anything that happens to my computer, he ends up fixing it like nothing happened. Without him this computer would have been garbage by now.
