So then lets pass a bi partisan bill to address the problem of illegals in the country. Then lets hold Congress accountable by voting out anyone that doesn’t agree to disincentivize illegals from coming here for work by making it a federal crime to hire illegals to work.

Biden has the power to do what I said. He chooses not to. He had both houses of congress for 2 years.

Congress passing a bill for Biden requires both the house and the senate to act, when Biden needs neither to shut down the boarder.

It's his shame, and he shall wear it. Unless of corse he issues Executive orders to shut the border down or at least keep the Trump polices he canceled via executive order.

James Lankford, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins and Mitt Romney agreeing to move forward with the bill while the rest of Republicans voted against it. Democratic Sens. Bob Menendez, Elizabeth Warren, Ed Markey, Alex Padilla and Bernie Sanders, an independent, voted against moving forward. The rest of the Democrats voted in favor of moving forward.

Schumer switched his vote to a no at the end -- a procedural move that allowed him the opportunity to call the bill back up for reconsideration at a later date if he so chooses.
