The catholic cannon states that the pope is god himself in spiritual matters, therefore according to tradition he does not need intersession.

the pope is just a counterfeit of the true god, just like there are many other counterfeits whose sole purpose is to confuse people.

You do understand that before the pope the person sitting on that chair was the roman emperor who was worshiped as god. Nothing changed except the names of the gods. they went from jupiter to peter... (the statue of "peter" in the vatican was jupiter before constanine)
