Another show that pretends to be gritty and unconvential, but injecting modern TV tropes and cliches of empowered "wahmen" leading a crew of drug dealers. A glamorised look at the crack epidemic depicting drug dealers who destroyed their own communities as entrepreneurs who had no choice. The Wire did it better.
