So should this doctor lose her license to practice? Or no?
Africans didn't start slavery. Nor did they start the transatlantic slave trade.

Membership in the APA commits members and student affiliates to comply with the standards of the APA Ethics Code and to the rules and procedures used to enforce them. Lack of awareness or misunderstanding of an Ethical Standard is not itself a defense to a charge of unethical conduct.

          3.03 Other Harassment

Psychologists do not knowingly engage in behavior that is harassing or demeaning to persons with whom they interact in their work based on factors such as those persons' age, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, language, or socioeconomic status.

          Code of Ethics

According to the American Psychological Association, psychologists must adhere to five general principles: beneficence and nonmaleficence (causing the least amount of harm possible), integrity, dignity, fidelity and responsibility, and justice and respect for people’s rights.

These five elements cover numerous prohibited acts and offenses, such as:
          • Use of fraud to apply for a license.
          • Unprofessional and immoral conduct.
          • Endangering the lives of patients.
          • Conviction of a felony.
          • Abuse or harassment, sexual or otherwise.
          • Any type of sexual contact with a patient.
          • Deception and incompetence.
          • Gross malpractice.
          • Aiding an unlicensed person to practice psychology.
          • Filing fraudulent Medicare or Medicaid claims.
          • Refusing orders by the Board.
          • Lying to the Board.
          • Substance abuse.
          • Inability to practice psychology due to one’s mental or physical illness.

Unprofessional and immoral conduct to start. Unless you don’t think racism is immoral or unprofessional…I’m sure you’re okay with some but not all.

Muslims in Northern Africa sold and traded to the “other team”. Slavery has been around long before it went global. The U.S. accounted for just 5% of global slave trade. But of course that is another topic…we are talking about this racist doctor before your alt hijacked the thread.

                  Chattel slavery, though.

We will see if the double standards play out or not, still early.
