Next up is Lacy-Tsypko. Anotha fight that really ain't mean shit, but was surprisingly fun to watch. I had never seen Tsypko before this fight. He was just some dude they threw in to fight Lacy as a comeback opponent after Joe C fucked him up. Undercard of Winky vs Quartey.
Lacy ran right outta his corner and started blastin dude wit right hands one after anotha. Tsypko wasn't gettin hurt but he was just eatin punches and not doin shit back. He decided to quit followin the script in the 3rd rd tho, and was puttin some good shots on Lacy. He started diggin in his right jab/hook and his straight left over n over without takin much back. He gota cut from a headbutt in the 3d, but he still won the 4th easy.
Lacy came back and outworked Tsypko the next 2 rds, but he couldn't do much after that. 7th rd was kinda close, but Tsypko edged that and started runnin it the rest of the fight. His right hook was killin Lacy and his left was bustin up his face. Only 10 rds, and Tyspko took 6 outta those 10 for me. I was surprised watchin this at the time, cuz some unknown dude picked Lacy apart. I thought the Joe C ass whoopin was more about him bein good than Lacy bein bad, but thios fight showed otherwise, tho Lacy did have a hurt left shoulder. He got a MD here, but I had him losin. He just took more beatins after that, never got close to a big win again. Last I saw Tsypko, Andrade took him out.Comment

I remember this fight too. Yeah, the only group I ever posted in was our Maidana group but nobodies ever in there. Next up is Goldie-Gonzalez. Goldie was young and runnin thru divisions collectin belts at this time. Pppl wasn't impressed wit his 1st win on JCC so this was supposed to be a proving ground for him, even tho it was really a tuneup for his fight wit Pea at WW next. Goldie was defendin his WBC strap at JWW here.
Goldie in his younger and smaller incarnations had power not to be fucked wit, but he couldn't KO Gonzo or even drop him in this fight. Dude was gettin hit wit everything but he refused to even back off. Goldie lit his ass up wit the jab n hook at will, but he just walked forward and thru his shots back. He stung Goldie wit his own jab n hook and brought in a good right every now n then too.
Goldie was winnin all the rds, but Gonzo made him work every minute and never quit throwin punches back. By the end of the fight, Goldie was the one lookin tired, and his face was gettin busted up bad by Gonzo's right hands. Goldie came on strong in the championship rds tho, and that on top of 2 deductions gave him a bigass points win. This was one of those one sided fights that was still fun as fuck to watch cuz the guy losin made the other guy fight.Comment

Spray had a good thing goin wt the NWO group but everybody in there kept fallin off in nSB or gettin banned. There was some good boxing convo in that group that I'd hit up when I quit postin last yr.
