I think a ban is upcoming. I think he'd probably be at Chelsea if this wasnt hanging over him. Chelsea and other teams that people give a s.hit about know Toney will banned the second he joins.

Authorities act with certain individuals and clubs but he's probably nicely protected there at Brentford.

I say this with all due respect as someone who would go when I was growing up and see Brentford in league 1 if I wasnt at Chelsea...but Brentford are the milkiest most pointless team in the premier league. The fact they have fans blows my mind because the ones I know never supported them growing up.

I don't know if Poch is the answer but surely he was better than Potter.

I just can't see us being in this mess if they just went with normal grown-up appointment in Poch than Potter when they interviewed both. There was no metric for Potter that suggested he was a good premier league manager much less one entering that kind of turmoil. It wasn't even like employing someone like Owen Coyle back in the day. Level wise I suppose it was basically like employing hid predecessor at Brighton - Chris Hughton.

Poch is the perfect guy before the guy hopefully. His aim will be bedding in homegrown talent, making them run longer distances and press hard and making them fit

If they get him just let him be in the background for the last 7 games of whatever it is. Chelsea are gonna lose most of them. They are a terrible team.

But what Poch can do is literally just start pruning the squad from afar. Give the directors 8 plus names that need to be gone. Let the players know. Let their agents know. Let all the players know that this is happening immediately.

If they want to be at Chelsea they are gonna need to do the basics like run around and work hard otherwise they are gone and in all likelihood some of them are gone already because they have embarrassed themselves. They are playing for a sense of pride now because a lot of these guys are worthless.

A little late but with fresh legs like Enzo, Mudryk, and Noni. Pochettino should be able to do something with this squad and considering Boehly's willingness to spend, he won't run into the Levy issue during a UCL final run in.

Tbh I'm not sure we can afford to give anyone the kind of patience Potter was given.

We wrote off a season. The manager needing time is not a thing you are gonna get in the premier league anymore. The exceptions being Klopp and Arteta really. Where would Villa be with Stevie Mee in charge? Or even Everton with Frank? Wolves with their coach etc etc.

Poch will have a full pre season. Top 4 is the aim with a game a week. If that's looking wobbly around January he needs to go as well.

And that's fine. It is the norm pretty much everywhere. Strangely allowing Potter so much rope made him the first Chelsea manager since maybe Scolari whose reputation took a hit. Although I am unsure why he had a the rep he had with a 31% win percentage even at a team like Brighton: 15th, 16th, 9th, left Chelsea when 11th.
