Any other team loses, it's the manager underfire.

Well done to Liverpool, although if they do the double i think i may have to quit the internet.
    Its not one off performances

Messi has not been able push lesser teams (current barca) on to the next level.. When they won it with pep.. Inestia and Xavi that was possibly the best team of the past few decades..

Even when they won it again after Xavi retired.. they still had Neymar.. Messi.. Suarez and Inestia

    It's the same with Argentina

Meanwhile Ronaldo has pushed an average Madrid to 4 CL in 5 or 6 seasons and won the European Cup with Portugal

Ronaldo has gone to multiple leagues and dominated.. and also won the CL with 2 different clubs

The guy is the clear GOAT.. on his day maybe Messi is better.. But I'd say Ronaldhino was better then both.. to be the GOAT you need consistency and Ronaldo takes it

    • He did what he had to do in that tie for Barca to go through. Put it in a position where it should've been beyond Liverpool in the first leg and then last night created clear cut opportunities for Coutinho and Alba to go through one on one to put it beyond any doubt in the first half.

Defensively they crumbled last night. Put it on players like Pique and Alba who have both had exceptional seasons up to that point. They flapped it and Liverpool took full advantage.

Messi is the last guy to blame for that. Unless you also think that Ronaldo was the culprit for Juve going out. Which is obviously nonsense.

Nah Barca have been incredibly reliant on Messi in the last 2 seasons, more reliant than ever (post Neymar, Xavi, Iniesta), whenever he doesn’t play they look clueless until he comes on.

Lol at ‘average madrid’ they were arguably the best team in the world in 13/14 and 16/17. That was a great team which Ronaldo obviously made even better.

‘To be the GOAT you need consistency’ lol.... both guys have that in abundance that’s a crazy argument to use against Messi.

Literally not even a 0.00000001% chance Brighton will do anything but get absolutely smashed by City. These smaller clubs don’t even bother trying against City yet play like they’re in a World Cup final against us.

The league is well and truly over but the CL is well and truly ON.

How can you be the best team in the world and not win the league lol? Only time they won the league was 16/17 in the last 7 seasons.. They have won the CL 4 times in the last 5.. done it 3x in a row..

Everyone on here last season was banging on about how ordinary and "lucky they were"

It was mostly Ronaldo's goals in the KO stages being the difference

Ronaldo scored in both legs vs Ajax

Messi was MIA last night.. like not even trying to motivate his team.. just sulking like he does with Argentina.. guy is not a leader.. Guess he thought the job was done at home like the rest of Barca did

Shame.. we all know Liverpool would trade a CL for the PL title

Just like City would trade a PL for a CL

Maybe you guys can make a trade?

                  Toni Kroos
                  Luka Modric
                  Sergio Ramos
                  Gareth Bale
                  Casemeiro
                  Varane

Average doe.... last season they weren't as good (relatively speaking) but in the original post you made it sound like they have been average the whole period of winning 4 CL in 5 years and it was just Ronaldo dragging them through.

Are you basing this solely on goals scored? he set up Suarez, Cou and Alba with one on one chances and was involved in every attempt they had on goal last night.

One champions league is worth about ten league titles in all honesty.

Ajax will be very tough in the final though.
