    Do you rate him?

I accept he has been good for Liverpool. You can be happy with him. But from a Chelsea perspective we haven't lost out.
You're free to feel you haven't lost out because he didn't show up at Chelsea but you can't blame him. Now he plays his natural position in a club better fit for him. You don't have to be a fan to acknowledge someone.

You had Torres, Ba and Eto leading your line last year. How do you come to the conclusion that Chelsea haven't lost out?
      Because he wasn't good enough.

Let's be honest, nobody respected Liverpool last season and they capitalised.

Teams don't try and beat Chelsea. 90% of the premiership don't even try to go for a win (same for Citeh and Arsenal). It is a completely different playing up front for Chelsea than it is for a team that teams actually try and beat. You are playing in smaller and smaller spaces for Chelsea so you need to be very technical or be brutish.

Our strikers were bad. But they had a harder task than Sturridge.

I am not convinced he would have done better. He just seems......alright. What do people love about him?

      • Rate him or not, there is absolutely zero doubt the man is in this particular time in history pushing wigs way back.

Don't be mistaken, he is as hot, if not hotter than lava.

        • Just lol at you thinking Suarez leaving wont have an impact.. Suarez is probably the 3rd or 4th best player in the world

I am sure the stellar signings of Lalana, Lambert and co will really help fill the gap though.. I mean those kids couldn't even get in the ****tiest England side of all time

Sturridge is one footed.. and not a very clinical striker imo.. granted he did well last season but i'd be shocked if he does as good next season

Since when have Chelsea played two up top?

Sturridge is not a lone striker.. he has benefited a lot from playing with one of the best players in the world and in a team which had an incredibly light workload in comparison to most of the league

Chelsea haven't lost out because in order for Sturridge to work they would have had to change there system.. and in all honesty he is not a world class player so why should they do that?

            • Giroud is better than Sturridge and will comfortably outscore him next season

I don't recall ever telling you Suarez leaving will not make an impact, my boy.

Lambert is not the only one we're signing, believe that. And Lambert for the price was a huge steal, anyway.

Sturridge will score a pair of hattricks on whoever your team is, you heard it here first.

                  But we're crap.

We might as well start Isiah Brown now.

I'm telling you guys. England will be hot next euros.

England will have young hungry lions in their absolute prime like Wilshere, Ox, Cleverly, Sturridge, Welbeck, Rodriguez. etc.

As long as Gerrard, Lampard etc old heads don't end up on the roster. England will boss Europe around. Only vets allowed should be Baines, Carrick, Cahill, Lallana and Rooney(super sub). That's it.
