Dude its not that im blaming the GK for the whole performance, its just that he conceded that goal at a crucial time, and it was not a strike he could not of got to, it was a complete howler that changed the coarse of the game because England did what Spain had to do against USA, they took more chances piled men foward because they had to and got caught on the counter.

If the GK does not concede that goal England may still lose the game, but there is no way they would of got thumped like that, the 2nd goal was a mistake and both the 3rd/4th goals came from counter attacks where England had got desperate trying to get back in the game, they got caught on the counter 2x.

          • What a ****ing waste.

Kaka's career will slowly die at Real, just like Ronaldo's.

MANCHESTER UNITED have been rocked with Real Madrid set to win the race for Karim Benzema.

The Red Devils have been tracking the £30million-rated Lyon striker since he made his debut in 2004.

Hotshot Benzema, 21, has smashed 43 goals in 112 games for the French outfit and his form has alerted United boss Alex Ferguson.

But Benzema's agent Karim Djaziri confirmed a deal with Real could be done later today.

He said: "Benzema will sign for Real Madrid tonight.

"For the moment nothing is official on the side of Lyon but he will join Madrid in exchange for £30million plus bonuses.

"In the next few hours some details need to be agreed between the player and Real Madrid, in particular his wages and terms of the contract."

Real director general Jorge Valdano had earlier claimed a deal would be announced later today.

Valdano said: "We do not discard the possibility that in the next few hours, something could happen."

Benzema would be the Spaniards' fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raul Albiol.

Valdano also confirmed that it almost definitely will not be Valencia's talented frontman David Villa.

He added: "Nothing will happen with Villa over the next few days because Valencia have not changed their stance."

                  • Karim Benzema has joined Real Madrid from Lyon for a minimum of €35m (£30m), which could rise to €41m (£35.2m), after the two clubs reached agreement over the striker. Lyon have accepted this bid and the player is now negotiating the terms of his transfer.

Earlier today, Lyon admitted that the La Liga side had offered a substantial amount for their prize asset, who was also interesting a number of Premier League sides, notably Manchester United. "We have received an offer which is substantially higher than the figures being talked about," a Lyon spokesman told L'Equipe.

Claude Puel, the coach of the French club, appeared resigned to losing the player yesterday when he admitted the club would have to look at the "financial figures". "We know his importance at OL and his efficiency in our squad," he told the club website. "He's an exceptional player but we also know the financial figures of the club."

And last night, after the unveiling of Kaká, the Real Madrid sporting director, Jorge Valdano, said: "We do not discard the possibility that in the next few hours, something could happen."

Benzema, 21, developed at Lyon and helped them win four Ligue 1 titles. He has won 24 caps for France, scoring six goals
                    Looks like it's definite.
