  • Good united win, ref had a poor game think he just wanted it to flow but he ended up making some bad decisions. This is the thing with welbeck he will run and cover positions but his end product is not there at no point do I ever expect him to score. And this was one of his better games today.

Arsenal city I've got a feeling will be a draw.

    • Arsenal to win this one imo. No Aguero, Yaya or Nasri for City which could mean they will struggle.

Oh yeah, no need to worry about blatant cheating in the first ten minutes, you wouldn't want to ruin a game of football by punishing it.

            • It was a red card though according the rules. Kocielny has that in him, imo. He's a bit mental.

That said they should scrap that rule as it rapes the game. A free shot on goal from 12 yards is enough punishment.

That said we would all want the guy to go if that was against one of our teams. But a penalty, a red card and usually a goal. Stick a fork in it because the game is done and hardly worth watching.

Unless it is top team vs a far weaker team that gets punished with the red card and penalty combo it is nearly always decisive.

Put a fiver on 4-0 City now.

You don't remember what it was like before the rule change though. Striker gets through on goal and the defender (or worse, goalkeeper) kicks his heels away changing a certain goal into a lottery of a penalty and getting a yellow card. They were deemed "professional fouls" and the change in the severity of the punishment improved the game immeasurably.

It was a minor rule change that really did a lot of good for the game. Like stopping people from passing back to the goalkeeper.

                • I thought half the city fans boycotted the game? Their section looks full.

                    • That was a crap sending off.

Good tackle with Wishere going down like a whore.

Wilshere had poor ball control once again. Kompany had every right to go for it and he did.
