Gerrard is more dazzling I think with the kick ability and perhaps better passing.........but I also have to point to the physical in that Rooney is just like a Sherman tank running with pace at times.

His Motor never stops.

Alexandre Pato reminds me of a blooming Wayne Rooney lol.

You know how managers have huge! ego's? well im still skeptical of whether Owen will go even if he does hit a sustained period of form. At times Managers have a tendency to ignore the calls of fans/media even when they know its the right thing to do, its almost as though they like to let you know they are the boss and they will decide, not let the pressure from the media/fans decide for them.


Capello really does strike me as this type of manager to. I think!! he left out big players from other sides that he has managed even though he was under immense pressure to pick the player. I cant recall who the player was and at what club.
