Because Crystal Palace has failed with as many managers as Chelsea and have nothing to show for the managerial turnover.
Any random arsehole off the street at this point

    • I liked Wharton for Palace. He was the best midfielder on the pitch until Gallagher stepped it up.

Palace if they have a bit of dough are in that unique position picking up the best players from the championship which is a really strong league. Big teams never look there.

Whittaker at Plymouth is clearly a better, more seasoned player than someone like Mudryk and has played in a better league for example.

Where will he end up? Probably at West Ham or Palace

I'm not even convinced Serie A is better than the championship. I watched Lazio against Bayern and there is no way Lazio would be in anything put a relegation dog fight in the prem. Wolves would probably win Serie A

      • I was thinking after reading that above.

Is England the worst league for experimentation?

For instance, the philosophies of say Athletic Bilbao, Red Bull, or even Barcelona and Juventus.

Those couldn't really suffice in the Premier league can they?

I feel like the stakes are so high that any type of policies or football idealisms seen in other countries are nigh impossible in England. Y

ou'd almost for sure end up relegated at some point and possibly relegation looped after the initial relegation from the PL.

I feel like Crystal Palace for example could benefit from the Red Bull model in many ways but also wind up relegated from it.

Ferguson's Man United was probably the closest to Juventus' monopoly style approach.

While Chelsea post-Hazard was probably closest to Barcelona and we f00ked that off completely at the first sign of growing pains.

          • Well that was devastating.

I'm out for the season. I sincerely doubt I'll be able to summon up a single f.uck now.

Hard to see the upside. I'd prefer multiple sanctions (again!) and put a bit of Chelsea back into the club.

Bless Poch...but such a f.ucking loser. He should quit really. Whats the actual point? What does he see happening?

Chelsea well and truly in the abyss.

I'm better than both Mudryk and Madueke

            • can’t say I blame you. I’ve checked out the last two or three games myself. My boy Gallagher is emerging but still, they are pretty bad.

              • Chilwell's injured.

Such a mad life people like him have. I'd have to give 3/4 of my wages away.

I know they are lucky and talented and in a way the rewards are a result of previous good work. But at any other job without a contract he'd have been sickness staged and sacked.

Yet next week he'll be in Dubai wearing a blouse and clown trousers.

Him and Reece James deep down must feel pretty pathetic.

                • I think for Reece, he definitely has to.

His sister Lauren is balling and leading Chelsea. While he hasn't been the same since that one night against Real Madrid.

Lauren looks like she could kick Reece's ass without hardly trying

                    • How does Chilwell get called up? The man literally missed a game and had to see a knee specialist. He's apparently also the only left back on the team sheet.

                      rip Ben.
