Tbf as a Chelsea fan I'm not one that thinks Gallagher is amazing. If we were a proper title challenging side I'm not sure he'd be in a top top team.
But.....
How can England not pick him? To play a right back ahead of him who is known for his long range passing more than anything else.
Trent has actually been OK - he's kept his shape. He doesn't want to stray too far from Rice or he'll be exposed. One of his main gifts is a long diagonal to the left. He can't do that because nobody is there.
But without the ball England are so passive.
Pure hubris to play Trent in there imo. Pretty arrogant really.Comment
