  • Chelsea have been relentlessly ****housed at home all season. So that was due.

Still we got Burnley soon. That’s gonna be horrible. They’ll have a player booked for time-wasting from kick off

Always thought Lamptey looked good in the development squads just a very small guy.

I wonder if Tino Anjorin should be getting minutes in the midfield too and Maatsen at left back.

Chelsea might as well go all in with the youth for me. They all seem capable really.

    • Agreed.

Compared to their counterparts. They couldn't do any worse truthfully.

Actually, win-lose-draw, it is more beneficial to Chelsea in our current state to start Reece James, give CHO minutes every game until he gains form, and rotate young players through like Lamptey did.

Then it is to "fight for 4th place" with mmmmmmmmmum average 'experienced' players, that likely couldn't even improve Newcastle.

      • I’d take Timo Werner though but I’d be surprised by him signing.

I think it’s a good move for him personally. Yeah, we’ve dropped a level in status and aren’t a leading light anymore in England or Europe but with the youngsters and players like him it’s all upside. Better joining us than a team like Real Madrid like Jovic and getting buried.

Probably a bit against my own argument but..

I’m not sure on CHO. The problem with him is not only his form but his contract. It’s starting to look like we should have let him go.

Depending on what you read he earns between 120-180k a week. He’s not scored a league goal yet!!

It’s the Sanchez affect but for us it’s Tammy wanting pay parity - which Chelsea have to give him now. He’s contributed 12 times more to
Chelsea than CHO ever has as
        a senior pro. I’m aware he’s 3 years older.

If Lampard came sooner and blooded these young guys who have played better than CHO, fans wouldn’t have been up in arms about losing him and he’d have been let go - especially post injury. He’s had a bad injury.

To me it looks like it’s done him. If not just for now then maybe that’s it for him. Could be painful for him at Chelsea.

He’s one I’ve got no confidence in, actually.

If Chelsea ship him out on loan Chelsea can basically show that his contract offer was an oversight and it hasn’t got CHO anywhere really and he’s still a novice pro who demonstrably might not make it at Chelsea or anywhere unless he improves

        • I'm happy for the Iranian dude even though we dropped points. Pretty sweet bicycle kick. Just felt Kepa could've kept that out if he is Petr Cech at his prime.

Not too mad that we just earn a single point when Spurs and Manure earned none

Plus Fred of Manure is a ***ing donkey with that free kick. Mata would've scored that and i would've won a couple of bucks.

          • Brighton obviously deserved a point.

That’s a bad point if you’re challenging for a title but I’d imagine we’re gonna finish 30 odd points of Liverpool. So good result.

Reece James was a monster. Some of his defending! He was laying people out in that game. Probably the strongest player at the club. Should be starting every week. Future captain and everything.

CHO needs a loan out. If we do get Zaha maybe we can work something with Palace and they can have him for 6 months.

Told you ages ago he was the next Aaron Lennon but you didn’t want to listen.

Now you are starting to see.

                I’m worried he’s a bum for sure.

                • CHO could've been the match winner but he's like Fred at the moment.

What annoyed me was not that he missed. It was a good attempt. But that’s all he does at moment. Cuts in and shoots over the bar.

I doubt he’s gonna score a goal this season.

But 30 seconds later he let someone run passed him on a counter and didn’t take him out when it was a no brainer and they should have scored.

I know it’s the dark side of the game but I was a crap footballer and I’d make that decision playing in a park where one of the goals was downhill, I was paying my subs, nobody was watching, and I was 13.

Stuff like that bothers me because it makes you think he’s not a team player and not overly concerned with the result

I'm quite confident he will come good at due time cos of the Frank's effect but right now we have to be patient.

Our center halfs are not the best too but i'm expecting them to help with scoring during set-pieces.

Can't wait for RCL to come back. He will be our Frank Lampard the player.
