Raheem looked good yesterday but our full backs were abject.
Marcos Alonso looked a half decent wing back but as a full back he’s simply the worst player in football since it has been invented.
Why would you face up Alonso and not push it past him and try and run the other side.
Azpi was bad but he’s got enormous credit in the bank. But Alonso. Sheesh.
There were a few utter bums yesterday unfortunately including he Keeper, Luiz, Azpi, Jorginho, Barkley, Pedro, Hazard but Alonso.
That was an all time bad premiership era performance. I absolutely could have matched that.
It was so bad even Sarri subbed him. That is the first time Sarri has made a sub in response to something that was happening on the pitch in his Chelsea managerial career
Still made the Barkley/Kova switch, lol.
That switch is made so often those two must find themselves inadvertently f.uckinf each other’s wives.
Honestly he is probably around Roberto Martinez level. Even then Martinez has actually won something... at Wigan.
The truly funny thing is, Chelsea play City again in a cup final and everyone in this topic could accurately guess Sarri's lineup, tactics, and subs used 98% of the time.
The other 2%.. we could probably guess Alonso benched and a different Left center mid and most likely be right.
Praying to the footy gods that Chelsea sacks Sarri after the Sweden game, then announces Mourinho as the manager for the rest of the season, 15 minutes before the start of the Man U, FA Cup game next week
Ramsey does nothing for 95% of games but he's a matchwinner, he could be an asset in knockout CL games. Would imagine that's Juve's thinking because he's invisible a lot of the time imo, proper Match Of The Day player.
Him getting 400k or whatever is a product of running his contract down and playing multiple clubs against each other. Looks great for the net spend brigade to brag about how well Juve are running things but in reality (like Sanchez to United) they're paying as much on this transfer as if they'd bought him for 30m and paid him 180k per week.
Arsenal are horrific at contract management though, that's now Sanchez and Ramsey they've lost tens of millions on. And Ozil has had them over a barrel with his current deal because he ran his old one down.
