Zabaleta is this years Ivanovic.

He is well out of his depth at this level all of a sudden. Defenders seem to just fall off a cliff with age and become complete liabilities. I remember being stunned by Rio Ferdinand at QPR. He was probably the worst defender at that club and they had a defence with Clint Hill and Jose Bosingwa in it.

I don't think you can be an old full back anymore.

I think he has got man of the match in 3 or 4 of the last 5 games..

I think he got used to being a big fish in a small pond at juve and had only now started to play in December...

United need to be more clinical almost 70% possession and 32 shots and still almost lost

Injuries got Ferdinand.. he always made the odd mistake but recovered due to his pace..

He was not a Terry or Vidic who didn't need pace

Vidic did fall off a cliff too though. Went to Inter and was the worse defender in the squad.

Not just Zabaleta, all of their fullbacks are old-old men with miles on the legs.

Their entire defense average age is like 29. Thanks to Stones being the lone sub-25er

Of the 4 goals conceded by Chelsea in these last 13 games Cahill was responsible for all of them clearly the weakest link in Chelsea but tbf to him he scored 2 so he nullified half of it


I don't understand why teams don't press Cahill and the back 3 more Spurs at White Hart Lane next should be interesting

Well Witsel finally sign with the chinese club. Can't blame him really they offer him 18mil salary compare to Juve 4,5mil offer.

should lock him up in august, he already arrive at J-medical but in the end zenit pull-out. but i kinda happy juve dodge this. even for 4,5mil/year i think that still overpay.

Juve still screwd though, with asamoah and lemina gone to african cup in mid jan-feb, the already underwhelming juve's midfield will get weaker
